We provided safety communications for mushers, race officials, and aircraft. We relayed weather forcasts and conditions for
the Quest Air Force, we manned 9 checkpoints, many in remote locations. We manned the communications center in Fairbanks 24/7 for the duration of the race. There we answered 2 VHF radios, HF radio and several phones. We manned the fax machine, many reports being sent via fax to and from Canada. We were responsible for imputing all the data on the offical website. We also helped coordinate emergency assistance for an injured musher.
