Candidates: If
your Illinois county is not listed with an EC, and you are a member of the ARRL and register in ARES with an EC,
DEC or SEC, begin
your ARRL public service with a challenging role as an ARRL Official
Emergency
Station (OES) first. See the OES/IL web page
for more information.
As of the June 2005
Illinois Section Cabinet
meeting, all EC/IL candidates
must have completed the ARRL EC-001 course and/or have the ARECC Level
I certification. |
|
|
As an OES or EC,
you serve under ARRL Official
Guidelines, with leadership, corporate experience, training, and
knowledge of the American Radio Relay League supporting you and
other ARES® responders.
