ARCS REPEATERS AND EQUIPMENT

146.97 Repeater
     The 146.97 repeater is located at the WJCL TV-22 transmitter site west of the I-95 and Highway 204 interchange.  The 97 is the ARCS primary repeater and is the "calling card" of the ARCS.  The 146.97 repeater is comprised of the following equipment.

-Icom RC-RP1620 Repeater
-Computer Automated Technologies CAT-1000 Repeater Controller
-TE Systems 1406RN VHF Amplifier
-TX-RX Systems 28-37-11E 6 Cavity Duplexer
-DB Products DB 224E Antenna

     The repeater system normally runs off of the WJCL transmitter site commercial power and backup power, but is also capable of operating from backup power provided by a deep cycle marine battery which is kept charged at all times.  Below are some pictures of the repeater system, click on the picture to see a larger version.

146.88 Repeater
      The 146.88 repeater is located at Memorial Medical Center in central Savannah.  The 146.88 repeater uses the following equipment:

-Motorola Micor Mobile converted for duplex service
-Arcomm Controller
-Andrews LDF4-50 Feedline
-TXRX 4 Cavity Duplexer
-Decible Products DB224 Antenna
