ARCARS Net Preamble

OPENING:

      Qst, Qst, Qst this is (your name and call) calling all amateurs for the Arcars (The American Red Cross Amateur Radio Service) net operations for this evening.

      The purpose of this net is to serve The Red Cross & local Hams with traffic and information related to local interest.

                  This will be a controlled net and I will be your
                  control operator.   
   
                * I will now take any stations that wish to pass traffic
                  related to the Red Cross.

		* I will now take check-ins from mobile and short time
                  stations.

                  (OPTION) * I will now take QRP portable stations.

                * I will now take any stations with announcements.
                  (announcements are usually given throughout the
                  net to keep it interesting).

		* I will now take regular check-ins. (start your 
                  announcements and check-ins, but ask for new
		  check-ins, as the net progresses).

CLOSING:

     Hearing no other stations I will now close the net.. The ARCARS Net meets every Tuesday at 8 pm local time on 146.800 ARCARS repeater. Members and non-members are cordially invited to participate. A reminder that membership is open to all licensed amateurs as well as
interested parties.

     Also don't forget The monthly club meetings that are held at The American Red Cross building at 615 Pine street on the 1st Sunday of every month at 7:30 pm.

     Thank you for checking into the net. The repeater is now returned to normal use. This is
