Motion to accept the Treasures Report by Victor (WD8DWR), seconded by Dennis (KB8OCG) accepted.
NET: Attendance on the Tuesday evening nets is still light. A proposal was raised to look into the possibility of linking repeater for the nets to bolster check-ins.
Club Project: The crystals are in and several members will soon be getting with Paul (KG8OU) to work on the Motorola 440 radios. Web Site enhancements have been made to the front page of the newsletter and we have added a ftp site at www.qsl.net/~arcars.
Club Station: The Heathkit SB 102 HF radio has been found! It was in a cabinet in the radio room. The Packet station is working well in spite of the missing section of the antenna that was lost during a wind storm last summer. It is believed that the missing section is used for 440 MHz and will eventually need to be replaced when we install the 440 radio system for emergency Red Cross traffic.
OLD BUSINESS: The engineer has the template for the lower tower section in preparation of installing the cement foundation.
Motion to adjourn by Walt (WA8FPF), seconded by Rodger (KI8CL).
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
EMERGENCY CHEMICAL VALLEY FREQUENCY FOR
SARNIA INDUSTRIAL AREA IS 159.120 MHz
