OLD BUSINESS: The TV cameras have been installed at the
entrances of the Red Cross and monitors are located to enable viewing in
the lower level.
NEW BUSINESS: Mark requested that the club purchase a new cork bulletin for
the wall behind the operating desk. It became evident during the Mock
Disaster held last month that we need additional board space for call up
and situation status information that would be imperative during disaster
exercises. The cost of the board is expected to be about $20 and is to be
purchased. There was no motion on this issue.
FIELD DAY: The subject of this annual event was brought up. We will be
exploring the plans for it at the April meeting. We will need to gather a
list of participants and compile a plan that includes station information,
gear, and other requirements.
CLUB COMPUTERS: Both computers are working. It would be nice to procure a
newer updated machine one of these days, however for now everything is
running smoothly.
NET: Please remember to check into the weekly ARCARS Net at 8pm Tuesdays.
Also try to support other nets in the area.
Projects: Paul reported that we have not made any progress with the uhf
radios. We will require additional test equipment to tune up the radios.
CLUB STATION:
The 146.800 (NA8I /ARCARS) repeater is reported to be working fine. The
packet station (KC8CXJ) is also working well on 2 meters and 70
centimeters.
Motion to adjourn: by Kip, seconded by Walt, and accepted.
