Motion
to accept the report by Roger (KI8CL), seconded by Victor, and accepted.NET
: Roger (KI8CL) reported that there have been about seven check-ins on the weekly 2-meter nets. The members are urged to check into the net for updates on Field Day progress. SPECIAL EVENTS: Field Day (June 23 through the 25th) was the subject that dominated the meeting. The Avoca site is no longer available for our use. Gene (NA8I) requested that a letter of appreciation be sent to Mrs. Reid for the annual use of the Avoca site over the years, prior to the sale of the property. The prospect of using the Silver Trails Boy Scout Camp was entertained however; we will not be using the camp this Field Day. We are working on a plan to utilize the camp in the future. Kip (KB8WWH) and Shannon (KC8DVT) have offered their property, as well as Bob (N8VBY) and Linda (N8VEP). The group decided to use Kip’s place due to the easily accessibility and location.DISASTER REPORT
