It was decided that we should plan to arrive in case it is decided that we are needed due to other events scheduled in other areas of the county during this event. Andrew and Russ (KD8FRE) have designed software to be utilized for the event. Mike (AA8K) will be attending a meeting with county officials and clarification should be made at that time.

EMARC is hosting a special event at the Coast Guard Cutter Bramble July 25th and 26th.

CLUB STATION: Everything is reportedly working well at this time. The packet frequency will eventually migrate to the same as being used down river for better coverage.

NEWSLETTER: Our newsletter and web page is normally available at www.qsl.net/arcars and www.bandopening.com/arcars , and www.arcars.org. There is a wealth of information available on the website including the RSS feed.

CLUB PROJECT: The truck renovation project is still in progress. Gene (NA8I) is fabricating drive on a tower support for field work.

NEW BUSINESS: We have been asked to help out with a search and rescue exercise on August 9th. We will be working with search and rescue dog handlers and local officials.
