July 13, 2000 ARCARS Meeting

The meeting was called to order with 5 members and guests present.

Motion to accept the May minutes by Roger (KI8CL) seconded by KC8NNZ, Accepted.

TREASURES REPORT: Suzanne was absent at the July meeting. There were some expenses from Field Day that we expect to impact our balance.

NET: There was no report on the nets given at the meeting, however net attendance has been lower the last few months.

SPECIAL EVENTS: Field Day (June 23 through the 25th) was the subject that once again dominated the meeting. The location chosen for Field Day this year worked out very well. Being so near to Port Huron was convenient and we had a lot of visitors stop by to work the stations and view the activities. Paul (KG8OU) kept track of man hours at the event. It was a lot of work but it was successful. Mark (N8EGJ) is working on securing the Silver Trails Boy Scout Camp for future Field Day exercizes.

DISASTER REPORT: There were no local disaster reports at this months meeting.

CLUB STATION:
No problems were noted at the meeting. Everything is working well.

OLD BUSINESS: The old business was not discussed at the meeting.

Motion to Adjourn:, seconded, and accepted.

After the meeting some videos were shown of Field Days in the past held at the Avoca site.
