Meeting Minutes
The meeting was called to order on February 11, 2007 with 9 members and guests present.
MOTION:
to accept the December 2006 minutes by Edgar (KC8VLV), seconded by Jeri (KC8YRQ) accepted.TREASURES REPORT:
Our treasure was not available for this meeting.DISASTER REPORT:
The Red Cross was called out in early February to a fire at Firth Rd in St. Clair for canteen and fire support services.NET REPORT:
Edgar (KC8VLV) has been having some difficulties with his station due to the cold weather. With much thanks, other members, such as Mark (N8EGJ), took over the net as needed. Ed reported that net attendance has been consistent with eight or nine checking in to the weekly net. Please make note to participate Tuesday evenings at 8pm, on 146.800MHz.SPECIAL EVENTS:
MDOT Operation Care dates for 2007 were mentioned. These dates are:Memorial Day Weekend, Friday, May 25th – Monday, May 28th.
4th of July Week, Tuesday, July 3rd – Sunday, July 8th
Labor Day Weekend, Friday, Aug 31st – Monday, Sept 3rd
CLUB STATION:
The packet station is apparently working fine, although some reports were given at the meeting of being unable to get into the station. This will be checked into.NEWSLETTER:

The 220 station is working. Mark (N8EGJ) was able to leave a message via 220.OLD BUSINESS:

The ARCARS & International Traders Net is held every Tuesday evening at 8pm on the 146.800 NA8I repeater.
The International Friendship Net is held every Thursday at 9pm on the 145.370-VA3SAR repeater
The Thumb / Mid Michigan Nets are held Monday through Saturday at 9:30pm on the 147.300 repeater.
HF: The Great Lakes Emergency and Traffic Net is held nightly at 8pm on 3.932 kHz
The AC8W DX Cluster on 144.790 MHz is available. Check it for HF activity
