ARCARS Meeting

December 3, 2006

The gathering was called to order with 16 members and guests present.

While there was no official business conducted at this gathering, there was a lot of conversation centering on amateur radio, computers, and computer operating systems etc. Other related topics were about amplifiers, towers, antennas, operating practices, the recent FCC re-allocations that have been made to the amateur bands, as well as the phenomenon that some amateur operators seem to have an unlimited budget to construct their stations.

Food and refreshments were abundant. The menu consisted of Ham, baked beans, several kinds of potato dishes, salads, fresh vegetables, and desserts.

Looking ahead, the January meeting will resume with business as usual. Just think, in about three months we will be discussing Field Day preparations again.
