SLOW SCAN TELEVISION
SSTV is a technique used to send color or black-and-white still pictures over HF, using bandwidth comparable to that used by SSB voice. Modern SSTV images are sent using PCs , SoundCard and special software. The Images may be almost any format. The software converts the image into tones that are sent via tha transmitter for decoding at the receiving end. The receiving station can display the images on a PC or printer or can store images on PC as a file.
Note:The most active frequency is 14.230 Mhz
