Freeman Pascal, N5FPP
Club Vice President
I was first licensed in 1980 at age fifteen as a Novice and recently earned an Extra class license. I have been active in ham radio off and on over the last twenty five years as military service, job, and family have permitted. I have held the the call signs KA4SCL, KA0TGN, KE6LSS, and finally N5FPP. I have recently (in the last two years) decided to get serious about ham radio. I am interested in HF DX-ing and contesting, satellites, VHF/UHF weak signal, and EME. I am an New Mexico Area Coordinator for AMSAT.
I went to school at North Dakota State University to study Computer Science where I met my wife Julie. I have served in the North Dakota Air Guard and later active duty in the Air Force. I have worked as a systems and network administrator for several companies, and later as a software developer. I currently work for the Albuquerque based Rhinocorps, Ltd. Co. providing web and applications software development expertise.
I live in the east mountains with my wife Julie and my four children: Zachariah (15), Gabrielle (13), Naomi (10), and Rachel (8).
