Santa Fe Century - May 15 This is a well organized 100-mile bike tour. The route generally runs south from Santa Fe through Madrid on 14 and 344 to Cedar Grove, 472 to Stanley, 41 and 553 through Galisteo to I-25 and then returns to Santa Fe.

Race to Sandia Crest - June 5, 2005. This is a bike tour to benefit the American Diabetes Association, with 25, 50, and 100-mile routes in the east mountain area (exact route to be determined).

American Diabetes Association Tour de Cure - June 18, 2005. This is a bike tour to benefit the American Diabetes Association, with 25, 50, and 100-mile routes in the east mountain area (exact route to be determined).

MS150 Atomic Tour - August 6-7, 2005. This 150-mile, two-day bike tour - a fund raiser for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society - has had its originally announced dates changed and has a new route this year: Bernalillo to Los Alamos for an overnight, then return to Bernalillo. It is an out-and-back course on NM 550 (formerly NM 44) and NM 4 through the Jemez Mountains and past the Valle Grande.

La Luz Trail Run - August 7, 2005. A perennial favorite event for very hardy runners and for hams who like to hike with their HTs to positions along the trail and watch those runners struggle by. Easy positions at the bottom and top also.

Duke City Marathon - October 23, 2005. We will be looking for the usual 30-40 ham volunteers to cover mileposts, support vehicles, medical, and race officials. More information later.
