Reserve December 11 for the AARC Holiday Banquet

Hello fellow amateurs:

The annual AARC Holiday Banquet will once again be held at the Marriott Courtyard Journal Center – 5151 Journal Center Blvd.  The Marriott is located on the west side of I25 just south of Paseo Del Norte. See http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/abqcy-courtyard-albuquerque/ for more information on the hotel and a map.

The menu this year will be a two entrée buffet of Bourbon Glazed Beef and grilled sugarcane Ham w/ pineapple salsa -- with two sides (garlic mashed potatoes, wild rice pilaf, seasonal vegetables, two salad choices), dinner rolls and butter, coffee or tea, and a choice of assorted holiday cakes and pies.

The banquet is scheduled for Sunday December 11th, 2011 at 1:00 PM.   Plan to arrive early enough for some eyeball QSO time.  The price this year will be -- $20.00 for members, and $25.00 for non-members (who must be accompanied by a member).  Please note that AARC is underwriting member and non-member meals again this year.

If your dues are not current, you will be able to pay them at the banquet.

We need to provide the Marriott with a head count no later than Monday December 5.

As usual, we will install the new club officers and board members and (we hope) offer several door prizes.  We will have a white elephant exchange for those who are interested in participating.
