Local WX

Dedicated to the art of Ham Radio, enhancing individual operational and technical skills as well as providing communications during local and national emergencies. Located on the Kenai Peninsula in South Central Alaska.

Meetings

The MHARC meets once  per month on the first Thursday of the month. Locations are announced via Email or local repeater.  Meeting time is 7:00pm. All persons interested in Amateur Radio are invited to attend.

Repeater

The club supports a repeater located between Soldotna and Kenai. Frequencies are 146.28 RX / 146.88 TX tone 141.3  with autopatch. The transceiver is a Motorola Micor with an S-Comm controller. The antenna is located at an elevation of 200' above ground level on a 225' hill 1.5 miles north of Soldotna.

Activities

Friday luncheons: Listen for announcement on local repeater. Check your Email.
Coffee breaks: We get together just about every day. Listen on the local repeater.
Road Cleanup: Missed in Sept. Need to complete before winter.
