CONSTITUTION
PREAMBLE
In order to better serve the public and to provide emergency
communications in time of need and to better secure for
ourselves and others the pleasures and benefits of VHF,
UHF
and HF Amateur Radio, and to promote and further interest
in
same, and to bring together persons sincerely interested
in
the hobby, we hereby form an club to be known as the Fort
Knox Amateur Radio Club and do enact this Constitution as
our
governing law.
CONSTITUTION
ARTICLE I - PURPOSE
Section I The purpose of this club is to maintain
VHF/UHF
repeaters and other facilities for use by
amateur radio operators, and to develop equipment and
systems to enhance the state of the art.
ARTICLE II - MEMBERSHIP
Section I All persons, having a sincere, active
interest in
Amateur Radio operations and who desire to take an
active part in the operation of the club and its
functions and who will abide by the spirit of the
Rules and By-Laws shall be eligible for membership.
Section II Membership shall be by nomination and election
as the
By-Laws shall provide.
Section III There shall be one (1) type of membership:
1, General Member: as defined in the By-Laws.
Section IV All members must hold a valid amateur radio
license.
ARTICLE III - OFFICERS
Section I Officers of the association shall be President,Vice-
President, Secretary, and Treasurer. The duties of
each shall be as defined in the By-Laws.
ARTICLE IV - DUES AND ASSESSMENTS
Section I Dues and/or assessments none
ARTICLE V - AMENDMENTS
Section I Proposed amendments to this constitution
shall be
submitted by any member in writing to the secretary to
be read at any club meeting. Majority vote wins.
