From: Leo Liberio AFA9LL/AFD9TM Subject: Change for participating time credits Date: January 27, 2012 12:44:50 PM PST To all SW Division Auxiliary Members: Please take note there is a change in reporting hours credited to you on all SW Divisional Nets. Effective 1/26/2012, following the current MOI 1/2012 regarding net participation on all SW Divisional Net based on Section 3.4.3.1.9 which states: Stations checking into a net at the beginning and staying for the entire net will be credited with one half hour (.5) of additional time. NCS will add one half hour to the NCS log for those individuals after verifying (radio check) that they are available prior to closing the net. NSC will make adjustments on their nets to accommodate this change. A member checks in at the beginning of the net and stays through the end verified by a Radio Check receives an additional one half hour credit to your participation time requirements. NCS will use discretion on check ins. With the changes in the MOI and time requirements for members on their primary assigned net increasing from 6 hrs to 9 hrs per quarter. The required time of 12 hrs per quarter stays the same. This should help those members who have difficultly do to time restraints. Here is additional way to meet message passing requirements (EEI) per the MOI and receive additional time credit. Section 3.4.3.1.11 states the following: Introducing a formal message on voice to a station that then places that message into the digital system via RF means shall count for one added hour for each message for both stations. Likewise, introducing an EEI message, actual or exercise, in any mode shall count for one additional hour of participation time. If the message is introduced by a member during participation in a net on that member primary assignment, the extra hour of participation shall be credited to the member primary net assignment. Members who pass an EEI message in any mode will get 1 hour credit on any SW Net, if sent on their primary assigned net they will receive an extra 1 hour of additional credit (2 hours) to their participation time. NCS will make the appropriate entry to their log. This information is located in Section 3 of the MOI outlines our participation, reporting and logging responsibilities Any questions regarding any changes please ask your NCS. Thank You Leo Liberio AFA9LL/AFD9TM
