If you do not know much about ham
radio, don't worry, most people that I talk to don't either. There are six classes of licence for you to choose from. The only problem is you have to get them in the order that they come, which is: novice, technician, technician plus, general, advanced, and extra. I am an Extra. My call-sign is AF4QR.
This is a great hobby. My dad got me involved with it. He has an Extra class licsense. I am lucky because I can use all of the radios and antennas that he has already aquired.
