Here's where you can read about my efforts to create some software useful to other hams.

My main development environment is ; my favorite languages are Ada95 and Python. The software described below will be written in either or both of those two (Python for prototyping, Ada95 for production).

As of now( Last modified: Sat Jan 20 18:28:04 MST 2001 ), I have a bunch of irons in the fire:

• adanec, a graphical front-end to NEC2;
• areslog, a logging program specially designed for ARES use, inspired by my experience working on the Hi Meadow fire in June of 1999;
• adaprs, another freely-available APRS program;
• and the APRS mapping project (more info soon)
