I never met a pile-up, I didn't like!
After 31 years of running a kilowatt to a variety of beams (quads, triband yagis, and monoband yagis), I found myself living in a neighborhood with very restrictive "anti-antenna" convenants.

What to do? Giving up chasing DX was not an option. I just decided to make it more challenging by continuing to look for "new ones", but this time with only 100 watts and an all-band invisible dipole.

SO, HOW AM I DOING?

My current DXCC totals are:

  • 314 worked
  • 314 confirmed
  • Granted, most of those 314 were worked during my KW era, but I haven't done too badly since dropping the power and the antennas. Here's a sampling of catches made since being limited to 100 watts and a droopy, invisible dipole:
VK9DWX, Willis Island VP6DI, Ducie Island T2T, Tuvalu
3B6RF, Agalega Island N8S, Swains Island K1B, Baker and Howland Islands
4W6MM, East Timor D68C, Comoros Islands R1MVI, Malyj Vysotskij Island
S05X, Western Sahara H40RW, Temotu Province HK3JJH/HK0M, Malpelo Island
HERE'S MY WORKED, BUT NOT CONFIRMED LIST:

Everything's confirmed. Time to work a new one!
