Hello And Welcome to the Hompage of AD7BK

This is my homepage as is I am starting out and this page is not fancy but then again there is plenty of fancy webpages out there. I am a 29 year old amature radio operator from the hills of North Tacoma. I am a member of the Radio Club of Tacoma, A Life Member of the ARRL, ARES/RACES member as well as a ARMY MARS (In Traning) member.
I have been a Amateur since 1/21/2003 when I earned my Tech. Ticket as KD7UBI, 3 months later I passed my Code and General exams on 4/11/2003 and on 1/13/2004 1 year do the day of passing my Tech I became a Amateur Extra as AD7BK. I am now learning packet radio, pactor, I want to contact the amsats and oscars, the ISS and make that rare contact in CQ zone 2. Everyone that has helped me along the way I thank. And I am glad that I don't have to use a CB. This page is under construction. And I will update it as much as I can with content

I currently own a Yaesu Ft-847 that is setup with a MFJ 941D that tuned a TWINLEAD fed 130' long dipole apexed about 50' up in a sloping inverted V and to a Diamond X200 2M/70CM Base antenna. I also own a Kenwood TH-F6A 2M/1.25M/.70M Tribander HT that has a Diamond SRH77CA 2M/.70M antenna that is very strudy. for my gear. I also have a MFJ-1275 Soundcard to Radio interface. hooked to my 847 and have the thrill of the chase on PSK on 20 at greyline HIHI. Well this is all for now and I will update this page soon.
