Welcome to my Amateur Radio page!

I have had a lot of fun getting several different modes activated.  Some easier than others!

Hopefully the information here will help you get active on a new mode!

Mobile Station.

Radio: Icom 706 MarkIIG

Tuner: AH-4

Antenna: 102 inch steel whip.

This is a work in progress.  To date, I have been able to hear a lot of activity on HF, but I have yet to make a contact.  Once I get some grounding issues worked out hopefully the contacts will soon follow.

I also operate VHF/UHF with a Kenwood TH-707G

Additionally, I have APRS through a Yaesu 1500.

  Home Station.

Radio: Icom 746

Antenna(s): 20meter dipole and converted Radio Shack 5 element beam.

I have enjoyed the 2 meter SSB the beam affords.  Hopefully I'll upgrade the antenna soon and get more enjoyment.
