A Curious Mixture of ARRL & NRA !
AD4SM Chooses and Uses Kenwood Amateur Radio Products
Kenwood...the Appliance Operator's Best Friend!
A little bit about myself...
My Name is William "Rick" Tinsley
I have been an amateur radio operator since 1992; before that,
like most people, I spent a little bit of time on 11 meters.
My QTH is in Radcliff, Kentucky, a medium sized community located
just south of Ft. Knox and it's famous bullion reserve.
I am a member of the ARRL, the NRA, The Honorable Order of Kentucky
Colonels, Ducks Unlimited,
and The Republican National Committee.
I was born in Memphis, Tennessee on March 27, 1963, I really can't
remember much about that.
At the risk of making the visitor to this page a little bit
uncomfortable, I must include in this brief biography this note:
Recently, I received the Sacrament of Confirmation in the Holy
Catholic Church and have been learning all I can about the
faith my father had followed. I have called myself
atheist and agnostic in the more foolish moments of my life, but I now
realize that simply because I didn't believe in God, did not make his existence
any less a fact.
My amateur radio accomplishments are few but include such certificates
as:
WAS, WAC, QPRp and the prestigious Worked All Rineyville Award
(presented by AE4GH...the Greatest Ham
in Hardin County).
Non-amateur awards include:
Best supporting actor Oscar for my portrayal of Mustafa' in "Malcom
X" *
* not really
1989 Hardin County Team Trivial Pursuit Champion
This biographical overview is subject to change as my future accomplishments
are added to the tally.
