 [ TNOS ]

Welcome to my TNOS page. I was an ol' JNOS user until I found Linux. I also decided to make the jump to TNOS, being that I can't let things be and stick with something I've already done :) I found the change from JNOS to TNOS to be somewhat difficult so I thought I'd try to help others out with this page. This page is structured for the new user, not power users. I'm not there yet. :P

I will try to update this page as I find out more information myself. I have found the TNOS documentation to be, let's say, lacking. I may jump into the foray one of these days and work on the documentation itself (rather than just bitch about it).

NOTE: I use TNOS 2.30 for Linux. I used the rpms from the TNOS home page, since I am a RedHat user. If you're not sure what I'm talking about, go ahead and drop me a note. Please remember this if your mileage varies....

Configuration Tips

I would normally just scream "READ THE DOCS" but in this case, there are so *many* docs to read (release notes). It would have been nice to have things summed up but I've already been over that above. Here I'll try to give the tips that I wish I had.

Operational Tips

The users manual is so outdated that it doesn't help very much. I think that adds some frustration :) Here are the things I've run accoss, usually by hitting the 'wrong' key.
