Happiness is a warm 4CX1000A.

I have been a ham radio operator since 1974.  I was originally licensed as WNØSVY as a Novice in Missouri.  I spent a lot of time at the U of MO club station, WØZLN.  On a whim, a group from the club went to the FCC in Kansas City to take upgrade exams.  I upgraded to Technician with the new call WBØSVY.  After graduating from the University of Missouri in Engineering in 1977, I moved to IL and later to CA.  I used ham radio on and off during those years.  I moved a lot, and I lived in many condos and houses that did not allow antennas.

In 1997, Johnson & Johnson bought the medical company that I helped to start.  By 1998, they wanted to shut down our CA operation and move the production to some of their existing factories.  I stayed on for 18 months and they moved me to Albuquerque, NM.  Now I am building another startup company.  MicroDexterity Website.

I upgraded my ham license to Amateur Extra and got a new call sign, AC5ZO, in 2000.  I have become a local advocate for PRB-1 at the state and local levels.
