Here are a few shots of my station.

Lets put up a tower and antenna but first you have to dig a hole.
Then you have to set up a jig for the the base plate.
And dont forget the rebar cage.
Make sure all pieces are ready to go.
The hole is 6 1/2 feet deep by 3 feet square

Of course you have to let every one know who's it is so my wife Kathy put our names and date on the base after the cement was poured.

The base was completed in November. The tower did not arrive until December 21st and of course .... IN THE SNOW !

Now lets figure out what we are going to do. Okay lets put it there and attach it to the two pivot points and wait for better weather to finish it.

January 13th and we finally have some decent weather. No snow and warm ( 36 degrees ) Yeah right, warm .. ha ha

There is no way in hell I am going to manhandle a Cushcraft A4 beam up on the tower so lets use a boom truck

The last picture was taken in April of 2003. The tower is now complete with the addition of the 11 elememt 2 meter beam and a 2 meter vertical at 65 Ft.

Now it is time to reach out and touch some one.

My other hobbies include Playing with my animals.
