First of all every one calls me Keith not by my first name Brian.
Don't ask me
why because I don't know just been that way since I was a kid.
I am an avid Ham Radio operator and enjoy operating most of the digital modes
especially Digital Slow Scan TV. The program that every one uses is called EASYPAL
and can be downloaded from KC1CS's
web site. It's pretty straight forward to
set up and easy to use.
My station set up is a Yaesu FT-950 driving an Ameritron AL-811H amplifier
to an
output of about 500 watts. The wire antenna is 160 meter Half Square. It was going
to be an Inverted L but the tree out past the barn wasn't far enough away so the last 25 feet
drops
back down to the ground.
