 About Me
Originally from Macon, Georgia, I'm the oldest of four children, and have two sisters and a brother.  I attended Joseph Clisby Elementary School, then Central High School, graduating in 1979.

Then I was off to Clemson University , where I completed a BS degree in Electrical Engineering, in 1983.  After beginning a career, I took classes at night to complete an MSEE degree from the University of South Florida .  My whole career has been in the communications/electronics industry.  I'm presently working as a systems engineer, supporting communication technology projects.

Home

I live in Warrenton, Virginia, a historic area west of Washington, DC.  Quite a few battles and skirmishes of the War Between the States were fought nearby.

My Hobby

When I have a little free time, which is not often these days, I enjoy amateur (ham) radio.  I usually repair my own equipment, and I experiment with construction of full duplex repeaters.  Sometimes I can be reached on the Warrenton two-meter FM repeater, on 147.165 MHz (+offset).
