FYI. This is an update on Internet-radio linking to YB land.

There are several ways and four servers available (three of them are in YB land) that can connect you to YB land operators. These operators use their MPCs or VHF/UHF radios via their local RF gateways. Up to now I do not see HF gateway being used in the islands and linked to these servers yet.

Please keep in mind that the rules and regs in the islands will not allow the local novice [prefix YD and YG] operators qso by using phone mode with foreign operators. So for foreign operators, please avoid direct qso with prefix YD and YG. YD and YG ops may use their local club's zulu station to qso with their counterparts from other countries. Other class calls such as YB, YE, YC, YF and zulu station call are good to go.

1. Via EchoLink under OCEANIA/INDONESIA you may connect to the operators using prefix YB, YC, YD, YE, YF and YG. Download echolink software from www.echolink.org.

2. iqso.orari.net server. You have to use their modified iQSO software downloaded from their website. This server is located in Jakarta, Java island. Their favorite room is NUSANTARA NET that is often used by operators from many call areas (0-9) of Indonesia and other foreign operators.

3. www.eqso-indonesia.net - port:10024 - by using eQSO software version 3 downloaded from www.eqso.org. This server is also located in Jakarta, Java island. Their favorite room is INDONESIA that is often used by operators from many call areas (0-9) of Indonesia as well as other foreign operators.

4. East Java server using IP address 114.57.168.178 - port: 10024 - eQSO system. They plan to host EchoLink system, too. This system is always connected to several UHV linked repeaters in East Java (call area 3), Central Java (call area 2) and Bali (call area 9). Moreover, this system is ready for emergency communication purposes to cover the provinces of East Java, Central Java, Yogyakarta and Bali.
