Tips for QSO:

To call another operator, mention his/her callsign once or two times followed by your callsign. Repeat several times if it is necessary.

After make a contact, you have to mention your callsign every 10 minutes or less.

Make a space between the talk to allow the other to break in or check in.

Respond to an emergency break as soon as possible.

Talk efficiently with simple words but meaningful (do not abuse the repeater or frequency with a long talk without break or pause).

Avoid using Q signals on phone mode (Q signals were originated for faster Morse code communications).

At the end of the QSO mention "good bye" or "73" (Best Regards) followed by your callsign, or mention your callsign and "clear" if you want to be out of the frequency.
