AA2AE's NCDXF Beacon Recordings

The NCDXF beacons transmit 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The operating frequencies are; 14100, 18110, 21150, 24930 and 28200 KHz. Each beacon, 18 in all, transmit ten seconds apart on a precise schedule which starts with the 4U1UN beacon located in New York City, and ends with the YV5B beacon in Venezuela. The entire process takes 3 minutes after which the cycle starts all over again. You can also follow a specific beacon from band-to-band as it progresses in ten second intervals from 20, 17, 15, 12 and 10 meters. This allows the DX'er to know first hand which band is best for the path in question.
