W9YPS AARO W9YPS is the call of The Area Amateur Radio Operators The call orginally belonged to Frank Oberlander, who became a Silent Key in 1990. He was a friend and Elmer to all who knew him. In this tradition, AARO has requested his call in memorandum from his Widow, Mary W9NCZ, and the FCC.
