The Anne Arundel Radio Club (AARC) has participated in the Volunteer Examiner (VE) program since 12 May 1990 and is affiliated with the Laurel Amateur Radio Club (LARC) Volunteer Examiner Coordinator VEC). Click on the links below for information you may find useful in your pursuit to earn your first amateur radio license or to upgrade an existing license.
The AARC VE Team conducts amateur radio license exams under the auspices of the Laurel VEC on the second Saturday of every month. All amateur radio exams conducted by the VE Teams of the laurel VEC are FREE.
Pre-registration is preferred but walk-ins are welcome. We open the doors for registration at noon and testing starts at 1:00 pm. You may pre-register by sending an e-mail to Bob Rose (AA3RR) or by calling (410) 437- 8193.
