Directions to the Anne Arundel Radio Club

1. The street address is: 3789 Queen Anne Bridge Rd, Davidsonville, MD.
2. There may be shorter or "better ways" but if you follow these directions and refer to the map at the bottom of the page, you should have no problem getting to the test site:
A. Coming from the general direction of Washington DC or Montgomery County. (1) Take I-495 Beltway towards the east and take US-50 east towards Annapolis.
(2) Take the Davidsonville/Crofton exit (#16) and turn right onto MD-424/Davidsonville Rd south.
B. Coming from the general direction of Baltimore or Ellicott City. (1) Take I-97 south towards Annapolis. (2) Get on US-50 West towards Washington, DC.
(3) Take the Davidsonville/Crofton exit (#16) and turn left onto MD-424/Davidsonville Rd south.
C. Coming from Annapolis or the Eastern Shore. (1) Take US-50 West towards Washington, DC. (2) Take the Davidsonville/Crofton exit (#16) and turn left onto MD-424/Davidsonville Rd south.
D. Coming from further south #1. (1) Take MD-301 north to US-50. (2) Take US-50 going east towards Annapolis.
(3) Take the Davidsonville/Crofton exit (#16) and turn right onto MD-424/Davidsonville Rd south
3. Once you're on MD-424 (Davidsonville Rd) drive south for about 3 miles. You'll come to the intersection of MD-214 (also known as Central Ave).
A. Turn right onto MD-214 (Central Ave) and drive for about 3/4 of a mile (you'll see a large cemetery on your right followed by an elementary school). On your left, just past the elementary school, is a road called Queen Anne Bridge Rd.
B. Turn left onto Queen Anne Bridge Rd and go about 3/4 of a mile. You'll come to a fork in the road (you'll see a fenced-in compound in the middle of the fork with a tall antenna tower on top of the hill).
C. Take the right hand fork and go about 50-75 yards and turn left through the gate (you're now on the Davidsonville Family Recreation Center).
D. Follow the road to the top of the hill and find a place to park. we are in the last building on the far right - blue door & sign above door.
E. Coming from further south #2 (Two choices). (1) Take MD-2 north to Harwood Rd. (a) Turn left onto Harwood Rd. Go 2.3 miles and turn right onto Wayson Rd
(b) Go 1.3 miles and turn left onto Queen Anne Bridge Rd
(c) Go 75-100 yards and turn left into DFRC compound - drive to top of hill
(2) Take MD-2 north to Birdsville Rd (a) Go 2.9 miles to intersection of MD-214 (Central Ave).
(b) Turn left onto MD-214 and go .7 miles and turn left just past Davidsonville Elementary school onto Queen Anne Bridge Rd. go about 3/4 of a mile. You'll come to a fork in the road (you'll see a fenced-in compound in the middle of the fork with a tall antenna tower on top of the hill
(c) Take the right hand fork and go about 50-75 yards and turn left through the gate (you're now on the Davidsonville Family Recreation Center).
(d) Follow the road to the top of the hill and find a place to park. we are in the last building on the far right - blue door & sign above door.
