Note: "FBI's Carnivore device": Since 1968, under Title III, the FBI intercepts and records Internet Email and 
    ICQ, Instant message data with a software driven, passive collection device that "snifters" and "filters" 
    pen-registers, trap and trace data.
1.  Downloaded: PGP http://www.pgp.com/products/freeware.html (46 minutes to download 8.38MB@28.8bps) 
2.  Unzipped the PGP download and install
3.  Click PGP Icon - click Options BROWSE Public & Private to SAMPLE KEYS
4.  Click Keys – click New “Key Generation Wizard” following structions.
5.  Generated your Key Pair:
                            type a Name and Email Address: Joseph Mettle aa3eu@carr.org
                            type a passphrase: "you select an 8 character passphrase" xxxxxxxx
6.  Backup Keys to Disk
7.  Upload Keys to Server
 
Note: this completes the software installation. Next is to generate key to the Key Server, for 
       distribution to mail recipients.
4.  To add a Key Server that was not listed in the downloaded PGP 8.0 software:
5.   Click on PGP Tray Icon on the lower Tool Bar
6.   Click on Options
7.   Click on Servers Tab
8.   Click on New
9.   Select i.e. PGP Key server 
10. type in the name block, the domain name, or IP address of the Server
11. Click OK
12. Click on Set as Root
   To Post/send your Public Key on the Key server:
13. Connect to Internet
14. Click on PGP Tray Icon on the Lower Tool Bar 
15. Click on  PGP Keys
16. Select on the icon representing the Public-key you want posted on the Public key server:
                                     i.e. Joseph Mettle <aa3eu@carr.org> 
17. Click on Server menu
18. Click on Send To
19. Click on i.e. Server
      Note:  "Keys successfully transferred to Server"
To send your Key in an Email: (OPTIONAL)
1. Click on PGP Tray Icon
2. Click on PGP Keys
3. Click (right key) on Keys (Joseph Mettle)
4. Click on Send to
5. Click on a Mail Recipient
6. Send Email 
 
To Decrypt an Email:                                   To Encrypt an Email
1.  Click on PGP Tray Icon                             1.  Address and type an Email
2.  Click on Current Window                            2.  Click on the Email text area of the Email
3.  Click on Decrypt & Verify                          3.  Click on PGPTray Icon  
4.  Type passphrase                                    4.  Click on Current Window
5.  Click on OK                                        5.  Click on Encrypt
Message will be Decrypted.                             6.  Drag User (sending Email to) to Recipients List  
                                                       7.  Click OK
To Encrypt a photo:                                    8.  Click on SEND
1. Right Click on a Photo
2. Click on PGP
3. Click Encrypt
4. Drag Encrypted photo to message
Photo will be an encrypted Attachment to an Email.
