Bank account details for remmittance of payment by TT

It is mandatory that all payments on account of tours to Bhutan has to be routed through the Department of Tourism (DoT) - and not be paid directly to the local tour operator. This requirement and the subsequent method of disbursement of payment to the tour operator has a built-in mechanism that provides for protection to the tourists visiting Bhutan ñ in the event a dispute should arise between the tourist and the tour operator or in case a tourist is not satisfied with the services of the tour operator.

The Department of Tourism requires that full payment for a given trip is received into their account before they will process for Visa with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Druk air will not issue tickets before the Visa clearance is obtained.
