Background
Born in 1971, Graduated with a BA in Public Administration from the University of Kent at Canterbury, Kent, UK in 1994, and completed his MBA from the University of Lincoln, UK in the year 2002. Married with 3 children all boys. I joined the Royal Omani Amateur Society in August 2001 for a long dream to be achieved.

I would like here to express deepest thanks and sincere gratitude to two Omani amateurs who spared no time or effort in helping me understand the hobby. Dr. Sameer Al-Azawi A41MO was the first ham I listen to on the air as an SWL. I used to even record his operation and listen to him over and over. I became a great fan of his style before I even met him in person and after I did, he was of most help in learning the hobby’s techniques and most of all its traditions and values.  Muhibullah Al-Bulushi A41JZ who is one of the oldest members of our society and a CW instructor with long experience and exceptional motivation, took it upon himself to teach me the code with outstanding accuracy and friendly teamwork. He was also of encouragement and seconded me for membership to the club. I know he meant to make of me a CW professional that can, as well as few others, continue the use of CW in such a digital world. However, I think the mic has attracted me far from it to the point that I can barely remember it.
