KSN QRT Monday, November 30, 2009 The long run of the Kentucky Slow CW Net (KSN) is coming to a close, reports Net Manager Glenn Foley, KO4OL.
Right now only two stations are serving as net control, Glenn and Willis Asher, AD4DX.
The KSN was the training ground for numerous CW operators and traffic handlers (the SM included).
An indirect recipient of KSN training was well-known QST youth contributing editor Andrea Hartlage, KG4IUM of Grayson, Georgia.
Andrea received her training from Bill KG4FXG, who received his training from KSN.
Glenn adds his special thanks to Willis Asher, AD4DX for his help as NCS, and to all those who have been part of the KSN.
Many thanks to Glenn and all the rest who have mentored so many hams across Kentucky and beyond on CW traffic handling.
Please join myself and the KSN "regulars" for the last session of KSN on Monday, November 30 at 10:00 pm Eastern on 3535 kHz.
