As they communicate?::..

Example of an amateur radio communication

   It is enough frequently if not in most cases, the basic value for HAMs the fact of an establishment of communication with new territory represents, with the interesting correspondent...

   The exchange of the detailed information thus is not necessary, communication can be short. It, by the way, has also other positive side: at short communications the greater number of interested persons can write down in the active of the rare correspondent. Contents of such communication is stacked in a certain cliche, the formal circuit.

   For example as the example of a radio communication between UA3AAA and G2BB looks.
G2BB Gives general call CQ (seek You):

   -CQ, CQ, CQ!!! here is G2BB, G2BB, Golf-Two-Bravo-Bravo calling and tuning.
G2BB from UA3AAA, Uniform-Alfa-Three-Alfa-Alfa-Alfa. Standing by!
   -UA3AAA this is G2BB. Good Afternoon, my dear friend. Thanks a lot. Your signals is five-nine in London! My name is John. Back to you. UA3AAA here is G2BB. Go ahead.
   -G2BB from UA3AAA. Hello John! Very glad to nice QSO. Your signals are five and nine too. I'm lokated in Moskow. My name is Yuri. I'd be very pleased to receive you QSL-card. Now will not to keep you. Wish you all the very best, 73 and see you again. G2BB from UA3AAA. Good bye, John.
   -UA3AAA here is G2BB for the final. All o'kay, Yuri. My QSL will be sure. Thank you for a nice QSO, 73 So long, Yuri. Bye-bye. UA3AAA here is G2BB signing off and clear.

   Such communication occupies about three minutes. For QSO between not so rare correspondents this usual phenomenon. But has on air begun to sound exotic signal German radioexpeditions on island Guernsey that is approximately in passage La Manche between the Great Britain and France GU/DL5MTS. Instantly on frequency "crowd" of calling stations, so-called pile-up (a dump) is formed.
   Here it is necessary to hasten: in fact it is not known, how good passage will for a long time be prolonged and what is the time expedition can give work on air. To enable to work everything, time of communication is reduced up to a minimum. For example Greek station SV1CEI manages to break through crowd of interested persons (a part his signal have heard on about. Guernsey):

   -GU/DL5MTS from SV1CEI SV1CEI over.
   -Please, only SV1-station, only the SV1-station go ahead.
   -QSL, this is SV1CEI, SV1CEI, Your fifty, nine. Over.
   -O'kay, SV1CEI. You are five and two, five and two in Guernsey. 73! Bye!
