Philippine honorary consul for Glasgow

Robert McCready (2nd, left) has been reappointed the Philippines’ Honorary Consul in Glasgow by Foreign Secretary Teofisto Guingona. He called on Ambassador Cesar B. Bautista (center) to receive his appointment papers, and for a consultation with Embassy officials on issues concerning Filipinos living and working in the Glasgow area. Mr. McReady has been one of country’s honorary consuls in Scotland (the other one being Ian Corbett of Edinburgh) for several years now. Shown in photo are (l-r) Consul General Mario de Leon, Mr. McReady, Ambassador Bautista, Consul Lilybeth Deapera, and Minister Gilberto Asuque.
