It was mandatory for me to visit the TS7C DXPedition taking part in my home land Kerkennah Islands (AF-073).
The DXPedition is the 4th in the islands. It includes famous faces among its members such as Gerard F2VX, Bill N2WB, Michel FM5CD, Bob N6OX and others.
The goal of this DXPedition was to break RTTY Record made by VP6DX DXPedition to Ducie Island. Three stations were working RTTY simultaneously.
The DXPedition encountred some problems with customs. Five days were necessary so that the 6 TRX were in the DXPedition's QTH. But, goals were achieved and RTTY Record was broken.

I installed this antenna in 3V8SS radio club station. It's designed for 15m. It consists of a 3.5m vertical alimented element connected to the inner part of the coax,  and 4 horizontal elements (radials), also cut at 3.4m lenght to have a better ground.

After experiments, this 1/4 Wavelenght Vertical Antenna works very well on 17m also. I used it and I made contacts with W, PY, 9K, JA, Asiatic Russia, most of European Countries.
I used it during ARRL SSB Contest 2009 and made 27 Qs with US Stations on 15m.
