From the very beginning of wireless communication, some ham radio operators have been motivated
to make contact with other stations as far away as possible, called “DXing.”  It’s no surprise
that many of them should be involved in scientific projects devoted to detecting
very faint radio signals from other planets--the ultimate DX!
